Glamping Short Break
Experience Kangaroo Island's brand new Eco-Luxury tents at Seafront Holiday Park located in Penneshaw, whilst discovering the amazing east coast of Kangaroo Island.
Over three days explore the spectacular landscape and sample the delights of the local producers from their farm-gate shops, from honey to wine to seafood and more. Take the time to check out the island's amazing recovery with stunning shoots of colour sprouting from the vegetation following the devastating bushfires.
Head to Cape Jervis via the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula to board the SeaLink ferry for your 45-minute transfer to Kangaroo Island. On arrival, make your way to your accommodation, where you will be greeted with a complimentary welcome bottle of wine and dinner voucher.
Explore the Penneshaw township by foot, finishing with the unique Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail. Keep an eye out for resident kangaroos and wallabies as you take in scenic lookouts, ancient vegetation and stunning ravine walls. Or take the car to visit Rob’s Sheep Shearing and learn about sheepdog mustering and yarding, sheep shearing, wool classing, hand spinning and the history of the farm in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Head to Dudley Wine’s cliff-top Cellar Door for wine tasting and lunch. Relax on the balcony with a glass of wine, view local artwork or try your luck at 'Golf across the Gully' driving range.
This evening use your dinner voucher and head to one of the many local restaurants. Maybe try Penny’s Restaurant where you sit high up on the hill and enjoy the magnificent views back to the mainland as you feast from their modern Australian cuisine featuring local KI produce.
